Khosa signs summary to dismiss PPP ministers in Punjab

LAHORE: The Punjab Governor Latif Khosa on Monday signed a summary sent by the chief minister Punjab to dismiss ministers belong to Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) from the provincial cabinet, DawnNews reported.

Shahbaz Sharif sent the summary to the governor on Saturday.

After governor’s signature the seven PPP ministers, Raja Riaz, Tanveer Kaira, Neelam Jabbar, Ashraf Sohna, Tanveer Rana, Haji Ishaq and Farooq Yousuf Ghotki, were no longer part of the Punjab cabinet.

The President Zardari directed the Punjab governor to sign the summary.
