Pakistani cricket team captain Shahid Khan Afridi has reached his 31st birthday today. Afridi was born on March 1, 1980 in Khyber Agency.
He was given the nick name of ‘Boom Boom Afridi’ by his fans and has a reputation of an explosive batsman. Afridi has made 6,606 runs and took 301 wickets in 314 one day internationals. He played 27 Test matches but could not adjust with the steady nature of the format and announced his retirement
