PPP leader Fauzia Wahab said that some people tried to highjack the issue of Raymong Davis. She said that statement about Davis was her personal statement and she resigned from the post in this regard.
Talking to media in Rawalpindi, Fauzia said that corruption was not hindering development process. She said that Raymond enjoys diplomatic immunity but she condemned the killings of two citizens, however she said that Pakistan government should seek removal of immunity from the US and then Davis can be prosecuted in Pakistan.
She said that Dr. Aafia’s matter was quite different from Raymond issue because she had US nationality. She said that she resigned voluntarily due to issuing statement against party’s policy.
